Thursday my friends Shelli & Jenn came over for a little while! It was nice to somewhat have an army to help with the "BABY BOOT CAMP" of naptime! Yes we are still struggling in that category!! Any suggestions are welcome!Please pray for a quick resolution!

YEY AUNT CECILE!!

Wednesday was so much fun! We spent the day at Aunt Cecile's & Uncle Marks House! Aunt Cecile treated me to a roast beef po-boy, and the kiddos to some tasty chicken nuggets! It was so nice to sit and chat with Cecile. She's the best!!!"Love Her" We stayed there most of the day! And of course we came home bearing gifts!! When Rick came home the girls put on one of there many "shows" for us! Emma a.k.a. "POP TART" & Avaa.k.a. "SPRINKLES"were spot on for their rendition of "TWINKLE,TWINKLE,LITTLE STAR", And of course every ones favorite encore of "CAILLOU"! It was an amazing show! Look out American Idol!!! I'm not meaning to brag, BUT, although loud, they do seem to sing on key! It's weird!

ALPHA IS BACK !!

Hey guys I know it has been a couple of days since the last blog so here it the updates!!!(Courtney) Well on Tuesday the Mayeaux's went and served at the church for the ALPHA course!We had a great time! It was great to serve this time sort of behind the scenes rather than as table facilitators! The kids had a wonderful time jumping on the spacewalk and eating pizza and of course learning about Jesus and the bible!Just click on the photo to find out more information regarding The Alpha Course!

What a Weekend!

We were busy, busy this weekend! As usual we went to church Saturday. After church we went grocery shopping with the "WHOLE"family!! Boy, was that a treat! Only parents with 3 or more small children can appreciate a journey like that!!LOL On Sunday Rick went and worked with the "CARE TEAM" out in Lakeview! They worked mostly by the church. Then he was able to go look inside the new building! He said it is coming along great! I cannot wait for the day when we are finally able to all worship the Lord "all" together and to be in our "OWN" building again! What an awesome day that will be!After Rick cleaned up, we played play-doh for a few "HOURS" yea I did say hours, with the kids. They / we had so much fun. I am posting a pic of Emma & I's creation. She had to make a duck in a nest with some straw sitting on top of her eggs! That was her exact request. She is so funny!!

I am so excited! For Rick and I's 14th wedding anniversay we will be able to go away for the evening! We will be spending the night at the Hotel Intercontintal! It is the same hotel we spent our honeymoon! I am so excited to be able to get away! Although it is only for 1 night, that alone time for Rick and I is very important! So I guess we will be playing tourist here in town! It will be fun! Now we need to finalize babysitter plans.

Good Morning!Well last night was a little better with the sleep issue.The last one to go down was Ava!Of course! After much frustration, she finally went down around 9:15 or so! Which overall I was able to go to bed early! So I do feel somewhat rested this morning! We are in for another day of thunderstorms! So I guess playdoh it is!LOL Well, I am off to another day of adventure here in my AWESOME role as a Mother!! Thank you Lordfor my precious gifts of my three beautiful children! My worst day is a blessed day because the lord has given me my hearts desire!!

The Girls & I made a delicious cake last night! They were SO MUCH HELP!! LOL We had a great time! They were / are so proud of their creation.I have to say once you made your way through the force field of sprinkles it was pretty good!!!

Rain, Rain,Go Away!!

It's a rainy day here in NOLA! No going outside for The Mayeaux Monkeys. They are very sad about that! Me too! Well it was another night of "THE SLEEP DENIERS" they were on the rampage. Emma finally passed out around quarter til 11 and Ava passed out a little after 11! Ava was up around 4:30 and never went back to sleep!Oh, well sleep is overrated right? LOL They are all currently eating a Mayeaux Children's favorite "Frozen Fishsticks" I don't know what they love about that but enjoy if you must! Ray's new word or comment this week is "UH-OH"! He says it all the time! It makes him laugh! Me too! Well pray for me and wish us luck tonight for getting the girlies to bed!

Why wont they GO TO SLEEP?

This has been one great challenge! Why in the world will my children(Emma & Ava) not go to sleep without a fight! I would love for someone to beg me to go to sleep! I am just tired of the fight! And as you know if small children don't get a nap, LOOKOUT for the meltdown. I am just running out of ideas! Maybe SuperNanny to the rescue! I am so frustrated!! Any suggestions?

I never would have dreamedthat the Lord would have blessed me so much! I am now the Mother of Three wonderful children. Doctors saidafter numerous surgeries for endometriosis that we would never conceive on our own. But God! He had his own timing and plans for us. I can remember praying for nine years for our hearts desire to have a famiy! Witin those nine years my relationship with the lord did run it's emotional roller coaster! I did finally get pregnant! We were so excited! But there were complications. This was an Etopic pregnancy. We would have to give this baby back to God . Although traumatic and sad ,how awesome of God to give us an answer that we could become parents. I was so Blessed and honored that the Lord would touch me in this way to have been able to be pregnant even if it was for only 7 1/2 weeks it was still a miracle! I did have to have surgery to remove that etopic pregnancy. Before I was brought into surgery I did have to sign papers that if neccessary the doctors could have to do a hysterectomy.But in that moement I was given complete peace. I was confident and comfortable with whatever road the Lord was taking us on. If this was to be my only pregnancy then praise the lord to have proven the doctors wrong and for answering our prayers. After my surgery I did find out that the doctors tried all they could but they did have to remove my good tube and ovary and that our chances of conceiving were now even less. But God once again showed everyone how mighty he truly is. When man says No he says YES! Exactly one year to the day that I had my surgery Rick and I were in that same doctors office having an ultrasound looking at a baby who was to be a full term baby who would be Emma Faye Mayeaux born 10/15/2003, Then followed by Ava Grace Mayeaux04/27/2005, And Then 8 Months ago we were blessed by our third child Ray Anthony Mayeaux12/29/2006. What an awesome God we serve! My life right now although it is busy, My worst day is still a blessed day! Thank you Lord for these precious gifts you have given to us!

What is Blogging Anyway!

O.K. Guys! This is a new venture for me. What is this blogging stuff anyway! Maybe I can use this forum to write about all of my zany adventures I have with my Husband Rick & our three children! Life is anything but NORMAL! I have a Beautiful Drama Queen, Emma Faye who is 4 goin on16, Im not sure how to explain Ava Grace? She is 2 & is just Ava! Always kickin life up a knotch! She keeps me on my toes! Last but not least is Precious Ray Anthony who is now 13 months! Life is very interesting these days! This will be a perfect outlet to maybe let off a little steam!
